Volunteers needed for Open House London’s structural engineering treasure hunt!
Structurally Found is back for Open House 2016. Once again, we are challenging the public to get under the skin of London’s buildings to discover the amazing engineering that keeps this city standing up. Funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Structurally Found is an engineering themed treasure hunt that takes place on 17th and 18th September.
The way it works is simple. Participants must track down examples of the elements on our engineering hit list (e.g. Dome, truss etc.). Once found all they have to do is take a picture and tweet or Instagram it to us for the chance to win great prizes!
But Structurally Found is more than a competition, it is a conversation- and we rely on our fantastic engineering volunteers to make it a success. We are looking for volunteers in a number of roles- no experience is necessary and full support and training will be provided. Sign up with the links below or contact email@example.com
We need an army of engineers online, ready to engage the public who are tweeting in their pictures: provide a fun fact about the structure, ask them a question or even give them a cheeky clue about where to find another structure nearby. Commit just half a day and do it all from the comfort of your own home! No social media experience necessary.

On The Streets
Structurally Found is not just online. We bring the engineering conversation to the streets of London by getting out and about to chat to the public about engineering and encourage them to take part in the competition. Commit as much or as little time as you like.

We’re getting the next generation of engineers excited about structures. Get creative and come up with exciting learning resources for schools, or join us at one of our schools workshops (or both!)
